Goodreads Synopsis:It was supposed to be the weekend of their lives—an exclusive house party on Henry Island. Best friends Meg and Minnie each have their reasons for being there (which involve T.J., the school’s most eligible bachelor) and look forward to three glorious days of boys, booze and fun-filled luxury.
But what they expect is definitely not what they get, and what starts out as fun turns dark and twisted after the discovery of a DVD with a sinister message: Vengeance is mine.
Suddenly people are dying, and with a storm raging, the teens are cut off from the outside world. No electricity, no phones, no internet, and a ferry that isn’t scheduled to return for two days. As the deaths become more violent and the teens turn on each other, can Meg find the killer before more people die? Or is the killer closer to her than she could ever imagine?
My Review:
I was excited to read this book as soon as I ready the synopsis! I love suspense/horror and it didn't seem like it would have too much mushy romance in it..right up my alley!
The book is about 10 teenage kids who go to an island for a killer house party (see what I did there?) Once they all arrive things seem off and eventually after some tension, hookups, & a weird video one by one the teens start turning up dead..not just dead but seem to have been murdered.
The main girl in the story is very likable and I enjoyed her character a lot. She reminded me a lot of myself so maybe thats why I liked her so much, haha!
There was a slight love story involved but nothing too mushy or anything that took away the suspense and creepiness of this book.
Other than the main girl, all of the characters in this book were strong ones. None of them fell short and all of them were important to the story.

It was a great ready that had me on the edge of my seat! Its definitely a "who did it?" book but not boring and dull like a lot of others. It was just enough of a twist but not too much where it seemed corny and unreasonable. I couldn't put this book down and finished it with a silent fist pump.
